It was important to incorporate the features that make the C8 exhaust experience so special; Active Fuel Management (AFM) and Dual Mode Exhaust Sound (NPP) actuators.  We wanted to have the highest quality valves in our system, it became clear they could not be purchased online and did what we were bred to do, design our own.  We purposely reinvented the wheel, err exhaust valve.

 

Most exhaust systems on the market use cheaply casted valve solutions or worse none at all.  These valves typically experience rattling and actuation failures due to poorly selected materials and lack precision.  The internal butterfly plates are typically screwed into the main shafts and are not optimized for flow.  Along with cheap sheet metal stampings for the actuator holders; this is the easiest and crudest way to accomplish a valve design.

 

Our valves start life as a solid billet rods that are 20 feet long.  One by one  they are cut into blanks, multiple precision CNC machining operations later they transform into works of art.  ​The Main Housing is manufactured from a solid 304 Stainless billet body.  The Butterfly is a Solid 304 Stainless Billet Blank machined to an Airfoil Shape while eliminating any fasteners or screws in the flow path.

Utilizing our Patent Pending design, the valve will not experience any rattle or experience any increased force to actuate it over time.

We manufacturer custom actuator holders from billet aluminum.  Acting as heat sinks, the heat dissipates away from the actuator motors prolonging the life of the component.

All components are manufactured in house and on-site using our CNC machines.  Each component goes through rigorous Quality Control checks to ensure the final product functions as intended.

THE EXHAUST VALVE RE-INVENTED

OVERVIEW

Our design objective was clear; NO COMPROMISES. ​Every aspect of the exhaust has been carefully imagined, engineered and manufactured to reality.  Our team set out to build a catback exhaust that would set the standard in the C8 market.  304 Stainless components are expertly TIG Welded throughout, you can be sure you are purchasing a product of the highest quality.  A brushed machine finish is an extra touch letting you know your product has been made with American Pride.  A Cast X-Pipe is used to create an ultra smooth transition while maximizing scavenging effects to produce power.  Our mufflers are a 3" Straight through resonated design to eliminate restrictions, while producing a loud deep sophisticated exhaust note.  With sound valves closed, the flow path is routed through 3 separate chambers eliminating drone and resulting in the perfect sound at all throttle positions.  Available in 3 Tip options, allowing you to personalize your supercars look.       

  • DESIGN 

    • SYMMETRY - Your LT2 is symmetrical, we painstakingly measured the engine bay and created a fully symmetrical design in terms of left and right banks.  It only makes sense.

    • Designed to be 100% bolt-on. No cutting, welding, or fabricating required

    ​MATERIAL, FINISH, CONSTRUCTION

    • 304 Stainless Steel is the main material of choice and used throughout the system.  Flanges, Flex Joints, Valve Bodies,  Mufflers, Hangers, Clamps and Tips, there will be no rusting here

    • Machined brushed finish components and tubing

    • TIG Welded using back purging techniques vs competitors inferior MIG welding

    FLANGES

    • CNC Milled from billet stainless resulting in a precision fit to the exhaust manifolds

    • Compare to competitors waterjet and/or plasma cut ( typically rough, warped and poor fitting )

    • All tubing is 304SS / 0.065” wall thickness, 3" Diameter for Main Tubing and 2.25" for the Inner Tips

X-PIPE CROSSOVER

We could easily create a multi piece hand fabricated crossover pipe made from various left over U-Bends, but we felt the C8 deserved better.

 

Using CAD with computational flow models, we engineered the crossover to offer the highest flowing cross section while offering superior exhaust scavenging effects with an extremely smooth interior.  

In comparison to the pie cuts welded units that our competitors offer, we doubt you could convince the competition to show you the inside of their crossovers. What would be seen is poor fit, rough edging, mig welds with poor transitional shape in terms of exhaust flow.

CLAMPS

Vital to ensuring a leak proof seal and long service life are high quality clamps.  We utilize heavy duty all 304 Stainless Steel T-Bolt and Accuseal clamps to meet our specifications.

IT'S A FLEX

The Outer Mesh Braid, Bellow, Interlocking internal liners (Maximize Flow), End Caps and collars are custom made to our specifications from 100% 304 Stainless Steel.  We do not utilize aluminized steel in our flex joints.  Our bellows will never rust offering you a long service life.
